ON BEHALF OF THE COMMITTEE:
🎾 Email has gone out today to all Members asking for your thoughts in helping us deal with aspects that are firmly on our doorstep. All interlinked, we have immediate and tangible concerns that are hovering over us, but also opportunity for us to shape the future. 🎾
We really need your views and help as an important part of making change and planning. Silence and apathy really won't help us deal with matters, we need to hear from YOU. Directly and candidly.
Link provided below to an anonymous questionnaire that covers several aspects of DPLTC. Feel free to add your names though if you wish [https://forms.office.com/e/PmE46VRhYP](https://forms.office.com/e/PmE46VRhYP)
To be clear - The Club is in a difficult place at present - decisions need to be made - we need act to preserve, strengthen and develop. The agenda needs change from one of decline to one of progression.
We all as Members, users, visitors have a voice. Please, please take time to respond. Grateful if you could complete by Monday
October 27th.

Many thanks
DPLTC Committee

Only 1 black bags worth of rubbish at the beach at the Bendricks this morning. Thanks India Follon!
Lee Whitehursts Rubbish had been picked apart by the birds, and was blowing around the entrance of the local amenity.
When I approached with my black bag and started picking up the rubbish that had blown across the road, they all turned away and walked off…didn’t expect anything else from them mind, after they refused to accept the bags of rubbish collected yesterday.
I wonder how many bags need to be collected and placed opposite their entrance before they will do something??
Can all beach goers, what ever beach that choose to visit, please take your rubbish home with you and leave only your foot steps on the beach? Come on, it doesn’t take much to be better for everyone’s benefit!

Look out......It's coming......2018 Wine Tournament. Friday June 1st , 6 for 6:30pm start, £10 , gets you in and a bottle.

Neither of these two household names has ever lifted one of sports greatest & most respected trophies " DPLTC Wine Tournament" . I'd contend that they can't live with the titles of "Legends" until they have smashed down a bottle of Keiths' finest Pinot Grigio , played 5 sets or so with their equally inebriated partner , few "penalty" drinks & lived to say " I did it". Legends though will be made once more at our Club.

So Ladies , Gents & to our 18 year old debutants ....come up & have blast , bring a friend or two to join in , they'll be given a partner, guaranteed a laugh & given previous years, obviously no previous tennis experience necessary. Just a desire to have some proper fun, possibly at their own expense as well as others.

What we'd ask is that you either leave a response on here or email : [email protected] or indeed sign up in the club expressing your intentions to come along ( include any guests) and select your tipple of flavour from Red/White/Rose/Prosecco - this way we can ensure we've got plenty of stock & Keith's a happy chappy. The Competition this year will be Wine only (in keeping with the title & tradition) but that's not stopping you having a few cheeky Beer/Cider chasers etc.

Look forward to hearing from you & seeing you on the night and remember, Carpe Diem.

Sian & Tog.
