Finals Mark Day 5 at Wuxi 2025 World Taekwondo Championships

WUXI, China (Oct 28, 2025) – The fifth day of the World Taekwondo Championships in Wuxi delivered two spectacular finals. Fans inside the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center witnessed dominant performances from Hungary’s Luana Marton ( @luanamartonkiss )and Thailand’s Banlung Tubtimdang ( @_.yxuxux._ ), who both claimed gold with commanding victories in their respective divisions. 

🥇 Women -67kg Final

In an intense bout between two world-class athletes, Luana Marton (HUN) outclassed Milena Titoneli (BRA) to secure the gold medal with a 2–0 win. The Hungarian take the first round 8–1 and closing the second 2–1 to seal the match.
Marton’s composure and tactical precision confirmed her as one of Europe’s most consistent champions, while Titoneli’s silver marked another strong performance for Brazil in Wuxi.

Thailand’s Banlung Tubtimdang showed explosive form in his final against Korea’s Seong Yuhyeon, earning a decisive 2–0 victory. With quick footwork and aggressive counterattacks, the Thai fighter took the first round 10–5 and the second 7–1, demonstrating complete control from start to finish.
The result crowned Tubtimdang as one of Asia’s brightest stars, extending Thailand’s legacy in this highly competitive category.
