We are a volleyball club, formed in 2009, with a view to becoming a performance focused women's volleyball club in Cardiff. On our first season (2009/10) we did just that by becoming Cardiff Open 2009 Champions, South West League winners, National Shield Runners Up and Regional Champions Trophy Winners. WHAT A WEEKEND FOR TSW MENโS TEAM!
Our debut in the NVL could not have gone better, we hit the court with full energy and came away with two huge wins!
First up, we defeated Guildford International 0๏ธโฃโ3๏ธโฃ (16โ25, 22โ25, 16โ25), followed by another strong performance against Southampton 2 1๏ธโฃโ3๏ธโฃ (17โ25, 19โ25, 25โ18, 23โ25).
The team showed incredible focus, power, and chemistry from start to finish. A dream start to our NVL journey and a clear statement of what Team South Wales is all about.
