It's International Women's Day soon and to celebrate we're going to be handing over our SISTERS OF SAWDUST session to Prom Queen Social Club on Thursday 9th March!

There are a whole bunch of phenomenal women in the skate scene, so let's take a night to get together, support each other, listen to some of their wisdom and just have a bloomin' fun night!

Here's some features on the night:

Live DJs in the Park

JJ on hand for some Tips & Tricks Coaching - Got a trick you're working on, or just need some pointers, she's with us all night to lend a hand.

Skate Vids in the cafe - From interviews, to discussion panels and straight up skate vids, we've pulled together an array of inspirational content for your viewing pleasure.

Workshops - You'll have a chance to take a break and get creative on the night too!

So good to be back at to see the new addition. If you didn't already know, they've been working hard and pulling down walls to make room for a smooooth new bowl.

We've been a little quiet on here, what with the pandemic and all. Skating has taken a bit of a back seat for me, but for others it has been what's kept them sane ✨ We're trying to sort some meetups and get to the indoor parks now that the weather has changed, so keep an eye on here for any plans!

Roller Disco News 🎉🛼💃 The team over at are now holding WEEKLY ROLLER DISCOS 😮 Every Friday they melt the ice for a night of rolling. Who's in? They aren't doing rental skates so it's bring your own for the time being.

🤘 We’ve got 3️⃣ skaters on hand to give tips and advice for beginners.

The skate park will be open from 6-8pm but it doesn’t stop there! Be sure to stay for delicious post skate beer, pizza and chat because will be serving till 9pm! 🍕 🍕 🍕

TJ's rollerskating are holding some beginner lessons. They're starting in May, so get in touch with them to book your place 🛼

**SKATING LESSONS**

We are contacting centres to book beginners and novice lessons, to start in May.

We will be contacting customers who have asked to be added to our waiting list for lessons. So watch out for our text message to confirm we have sent you the booking information by email .

Numbers will be restricted to 15 skaters per lesson, in line with government rules. Spectators will not be allowed under current restrictions. Children over 10years can be left with us, but children younger will require an adult to learn too.

Once spectators are allowed we will arrange for children under 10years with adult supervision.

If you want to be added to the list, please pm your email address and mobile number. Also whether your a brand new skater, a skater looking for confidence and to learn the basics or a novice skater.

If your not sure at what level, I can work out what class you need, by asking a few questions.

Things to look forward to in 2021!

We know this year has been an absolute mess, but plenty of people started rollerskating so there's always a silver lining 🥰

We don't hold any events, training or lessons, so keep an eye on TJs for your learning to skate needs 💃

**Another sad day for indoor skaters**

The welsh government has announced that we will likely be in tier 4 after xmas.
So this means no indoor skating.😢😱🥺

Everything is in place for a TJ's and Cardiff City Rollers comeback next year, when safe.

We definitely will be back.💖

*Things to look forward to in the future*

Cardiff City Rollers beginners and novice lessons.

CCR Advanced lessons. These will include dance type footwork, jumps and spins. Roller derby basic skills (crossovers and transitions) and BRSF grades (edges, backpulls, weaving ). Plus loads more.
