3 years in and still showing up ๐
Meet Barry one of our long standing members at ION@Space2B.
Working next door at The Maltings, convenience helped him get started but consistency is whatโs kept him going. Between work, family life and two young kids, Barry and his wife still fit in 8โ9 sessions between them each week because, in his words, โtime is proportionate to priority.โ
From improving body composition and building strength to simply feeling better and handling the challenges of parenting, training has become about longevity, routine and feeling good.
His advice if youโre nervous to start?
Choose a class you feel comfortable with, come and try a session and donโt overthink it. Youโll probably be surprised how welcoming the environment is.

Results are always good to see, but for us the bigger picture is what sits behind them.
Structure, consistency, coaching and accountability.
Our previous ION60 12 Week Strength Block gave members a clear plan to follow, enough repetition to build confidence in the key lifts, and the right environment to keep showing up week after week.
The improvements shown here are a reflection of that process.
At ION, we believe training should have purpose. It should help people move better, get stronger, build confidence and create measurable progress over time.
Well done to all members involved, great to see the hard work paying off.
Keep tracking your progress through the Gym App and our InBody Body Composition machine. As the saying goes โwhat you track youโre more likely to see improves withโ.
