Pentyrch U15’s pre season tour to Lampeter was a success with many thanks to Lampeter Town RFC / Clwb Rygbi Llambed - Official Site- for hosting on Saturday to a rusty but well competed match and many thanks to Llain Activity CentreLlain us
for the remainder of our stay till Sunday morning-afternoon with a great experience doing coateering in Aberport with Activity Pembrokeshire LTD

Sonny played M&J rugby for Pentyrch RFC from U7 through to Youth level. He represented Cardiff Schools at U11 and U15, winning the National 7s and finishing as runners-up in the Dewar Shield.

He then attended Hartpury College, where he was part of the side that won the ACE (Academy Colleges and Education) League and also represented Dragons U18.

At Hartpury University, he played BUCS Super Rugby and gained his first experience of senior rugby with Drybrook, before spending two seasons with National League 2 West side Cinderford.

Sonny has now signed for Cardiff RFC ahead of the 2026/27 Super Rygbi Cymru season, joining several former Pentyrch teammates.
