You are remembered, you are loved, and your legacy continues every single day.

FAB BEARS was created in 2016 and lovingly named in memory of a very special little boy I had the privilege of coaching — Fraser Aaron Bates, who tragically lost his life at just 7 years old following a road traffic accident in December 2015.

In the midst of unimaginable heartbreak, Fraser became a hero. Through organ donation, he went on to save lives, giving other families the most precious gift of all — more time with the people they love.

Fraser’s incredible mum turned unimaginable pain into something so powerful, creating the charity Believe to raise awareness of organ donation and encourage conversations that can ultimately save lives. I will forever be in awe of her strength and courage.

Fraser’s memory has remained at the heart of FAB BEARS ever since.

At the end of our toddler sessions, we hand out our little FAB Bears to help share Fraser’s story, spark conversations about organ donation and ensure that his bright, joyful memory continues to live on.

I often wonder what Fraser would think if he could see FAB BEARS today. Nearly 500 children playing, laughing, building confidence and making friends every single week — all under a name that carries his initials:

F.A.B. — Fraser Aaron Bates. ❤️

What an incredible legacy for a little boy who brought so much happiness to those lucky enough to know him.

FAB BEARS will always be so much more than a business to me. It is a tribute, a purpose and a way of making sure Fraser’s name and story continue to make a difference.
