I’ve had a fantastic day in Taunton today training with Dewskitch School of Impact Arts. James Stewart demonstrated a number of stick systems, including,Doyle Irish stick, Kengla, floro, and some Filipino " Dos Manos" systems and how they use boxing as a base for stickwork. We looked at various boxing/dirty boxing ( panantukan) concepts and combinations and how the various systems applied those ideas to stick work.

Hi everyone!
Long time since we’ve had an update. Now the world seems to be reopening we’ve been getting messages through.
While there’s still a ban on contact sports and Ollie is off having a bambino we’re going to stay dormant.
When we decide to reopen no doubt we’ll get in touch with everyone who trained with us or messaged us.
Hope everyone keeps healthy and keeps training in the meantime 💪.
All the best

Belated happy new year team! Hope you're all happy and healthy!
I've had a few questions about plan 2021. While we have a lot of plans for when the world reopens, unfortunately we're limited to government plans and fighting this virus.
As it stands we can't do any form of group training. The second this changes I'll let you know.
But it won't be this way forever! Yes our classes focus on technique and strategy but anyone who has sparred knows strength, speed and cardio matter.
There's always solo drills and endless videos for these on YouTube but in this time I lean on the side of cardio., flexibility or weight training. Not only will it help your fight game, but the non-fight benefits are great for fighting lockdown blues.
As I have a small flat with no weights, I've taken to the great outdoors for running. Maybe spend your gym. Membership budget on a fitness app?
There's every excuse to come back rusty, but coming back stronger or fitter to compensate is a great idea.
See you when the world reopens!

News!
A little tweak of the time tables for now starting monday.
Cardiff hangar - is now 7.00 on MONDAY not Thursday.
Newport ncma - is now 7.30 WEDNESDAY. There is still one 7.30 Monday but its by Smith instead of me, so will be mostly basic levels on the monday
Unfortunately it's all under covid rules so mostly bag work, conditioning and stick sparring (minus grappling).
Hope you're all happy and healthy.
Inbox me if you have any questions.

Well done guys and gals for all the effort put in tonight! We started off on the bags, working on defence and southpaw training - countering the last hit on set combos, before moving on to some stick sparring. All whilst adhering to strict social distancing guidelines!!
Rest up and see you for more fun and frolics next week xx
Reminder we're on at 7.00 (not 7.30) outside in the hangar tonight!
See you there!
Just checked with the gym if we're still on if it's raining. Its "supposed" to stop but we'll see!
I can confirm we're still on regardless. 👌
Bit of rain never hurt anyone, let's toughen it up and get it done 👊
Quick reminder we're back on for 7pm (not 7.30) tonight!
It's an outdoor sesh. Make sure you have trainers and if you have your own boxing gloves/mma gloves, bring 'em for bag work.
If you have protective glasses too, bring them for a lil stick sparring (if all goes to plan!)

We're back in the Human performance hangar!
It's been a long time off - for now we're not on Mondays, but we're back in action Thursday 7pm (not 7.30 as usual) 👏
Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
See the hangar's new timetable for the other classes available 👍.
As mentioned, we're also up and running for private sessions now too. If you're interested, just inbox 🙂
Cheers!
