RIDERS AND SPECTATORS PLEASE READ THIS POST ITS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT
CAMPING - free for riders and family in same vehicle, but we’re having a lot of gangs of people just turning up to camp that aren’t actually even riding all weekend, then these are the people keeping the music on until late and having fires etc and this all has to stop now as we almost lost Glynduro GP track last event !!
The farmer told me there will be no more events at the venue due to the lack of respecting the rules, post event I had a sit down with the family and we covered the issues and how to prevent them so we don’t have to say goodbye to this awesome venue.
The brown family are great people and have become very good friends of mine and it’s lucky we have built that type of relationship otherwise I can guarantee you we would never see the place again.
I take it very personal from those not respecting the rules and the land, this is not wasteland that isn’t fit for purpose, this is the brown families home, they feed their animals on and they’ve cared for this land for generations with great love, disrespecting it or the rules to protect it will not be tolerated.
If you’re not riding and in a separate vehicle you will be charged £10 a person to camp for the weekend.
Please understand having a rant is the exact opposite to what I want to be doing but I must enforce this now before it’s too late.
We enjoy having campers and giving you all that opportunity but don’t abuse that privilege.
SPECATATORS - going forward we are very seriously considering charging you in the future, the amount of litter you are scattering around the land where animals feed is really saddening to see.
It is very dangerous for the livestock but it’s also a clear indication of how much disregard you have for both our club and the land you’ve been welcomed into for FREE.
A load of beer cans in the water butt/feeder was the one that really done it for me, you know we can’t follow everyone around that massive 200+ acres of land on litter watch so you use this against us and chuck it everywhere, you could so easily put it in your pocket or a carrier bag and just take it away with you.
PLEASE PLEASE HEAR THIS POST GUYS AND HELP US TO KEEP GLYNDURO EVENTS ALIVE AND KICKING WITH NO BAD FEEDBACK, WE’VE WORKED SO HARD TO MAKE THIS A GREAT CLUB FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS
Thank you for reading and acknowledging
sorry to do a negative post but it’s for the best interest for the club 👍🏼

My next question is, how many of you want a kids event here ?
There’s going to be a lot going on this weekend, the main focus will be making sure everything goes as smoothly as possible for the memorial race as we will have kips family and friends onsite and we need to do them proud, so that being said if you really want this kids event to take place then let us know now and commit to booking in asap if we open entries, I hate to open entries then cancel it and let down those who were looking forward to it.
Don’t wait to see if it’s on, book in and it will be.

After speaking with the Herring family on Sunday at Kip herrings ride out, it is an honour to announce we have decided between us that we will run a memorial event for Kip herring.
This will take place at Glynduro GP track on August 23rd weekend.
This will now be an annual event that will run in July of each year or nearest date to the very tragic loss of Kip.
In order to help create a donation box, We will be charging a £5 spectator fee on the gate and all funds raised through spectator fees & donations will go directly to the daughters of Kip.
Due to short notice, this event will also still be round 4 of the summer series for 2026 but going forward we would like to make this a stand alone event solely for the purpose of remembering Kip Herring.
We as a club would like to thank the whole of the Herring family for honouring us with this opportunity. It is a privilege to be trusted with celebrating Kip’s life, and we will do everything we can to make this an event he would have been proud of.
We hope the enduro community will come together to support this special day, whether that’s by racing, spectating, volunteering or simply making a donation.
This weekend is all about remembering a great rider, a friend to many, and making sure his name and legacy continue to live on for years to come.
We look forward to seeing you all on the 23rd August weekend as we celebrate Kip’s life in the best way we know how— surrounded by bikes 🏴✊🏼

What a turn out for Kip herring today, man if he could only see what those boys pulled off for him amongst all of the emotion and confusion just a week after losing him 🥺
Bitter sweet as they say, was overwhelmingly heart warming to see how loved Kip was !
A day we will all always remember dedicated to the iron giant 👑

It’s been a massive shock to hear we’ve lost such an iron giant to us all.
Kip herring, a true Welsh gentleman, a man we all looked up to.
I met Kip years ago through racing and riding bikes, as soon as I met him I took a liking to him (how could you not 😂) within a few months of knowing him I nicknamed him the wild bull 🐂
He was fu***ng wild but in the nicest way possible😂
I had messages from people from all over the uk yesterday from men who are as equally devastated to hear the sad news, it just shows how much this man was loved.
The best thing about Kip is he was like a chameleon, he was the wildest person you could ever meet, he was a real free spirit that could ride a bike like no other I’ve seen in wales (even naked some of the time😂), would ride his saddleless horse with a cowboy hat on, adidas jogging bottoms and ankle boots with a beer in his hand like some wild hillbilly but he could also be a very level headed person that had an ear to listen to you and give you his best advice, if Kip gave advice I would definitely be taking it in.
Being the same age as Kip and also both having daughters, this news really hit home.
Whilst we’re all hurting and feeling more sensitive to life, perhaps we should take this time to remind ourselves to look out for each other a little more, be kind and not judge.
We’re all on a journey and that’s all life is, we’re all different and unless we’re living it we’re in no place to judge what other people do !
Maybe in the future we as a community and club can do something in memory of this Welsh hero, we’ll see, but for now im wishing strength and healing for everyone hurting ❤️🩹
We all love you Kip 👑
Sending love to your daughters and loved ones ❤️
Love from us all in the uk bike community
