We had a lovely sunny day on Sunday for our finals!

The afternoon commenced with the men’s and ladies singles competitions.
Adam Dickinson proved too strong for Danny Dunglinson in an exciting match.
The ladies had another close match with Jo Marshall just beating Rosie Lester.
In the ladies doubles finals, Kirsty Williamson partnered by Chris Newsome overcame Sandy Watson and Angie Gardhouse in another enjoyable match.
Unfortunately Ed Holt, who was in two finals, couldn’t compete because of illness. We will hold those matches at a later date. We had a couple of stand-ins though and there were two very entertaining matches put on for our enjoyment. Many thanks for David and Neil for stepping in at the last minute.

There was a lovely tea and then we had a fun single point competition, with Andrew Bailiff being the eventual winner.

The afternoon was rounded off with the presentation of the trophies.

Thanks to all who took part in a very successful competition and to Ed for doing the draw.

Winners were Thomas & Suzie and very close runners up were Sandy & Jan.
There were many great outfits; Andrew won best dressed man in a caveman outfit and Sandy won for the ladies who was pretty in pink!
Many thanks to all who helped on the night especially Arthur on the BBQ, Adam for sorting the draw and Joanie for organising the food and Pimms.🍹 🍓
