Not a great result last night for the players called up to represent Scotland 😭

However, a much better result tonight for the six Milton rovers players picked to represent Carluke High School 😀

Well done Sean, Jack, Joseph, Cammy, Conrad and Khaleed ⚽️

Hi, We are trying to raise money for a football tournament in Holland in March for our 2013 team.

19/09/2026

Great performance from our boys this morning after a difficult few weeks where the performances have been good but the results didn’t match. We came up against a well drilled Bellshill Athletic team who have given us some great games in the past.

Milton controlled much of the first half with some great wide play from Khaleed, Joseph and Jack interchanging but we just didn’t get the breaks when we needed them, coupled with some fine saves from the Bellshill keeper. The game remained 0-0 at half time.

At the break, the team talk was all about continuing the press, to keep persevering and being confident that the chances would come. Within a couple minutes of the restart, the impressive Khaleed set up Conrad who smashed a pile driver into the top corner from the edge of the box to break the deadlock.

The boys took a huge lift from this and a minute later Sean rose to power a header home from Jacks corner to make it 2-0.

Some clever play from Conrad cutting inside the box saw him bundled over for a penalty and captain Cammy struck it home for 3-0.

As the game wore on, a through ball to Euan A on the shoulder of the defence saw him chopped down inside the box and Cammy once again stepped up to the spot to make it 4-0.

The full squad of 18 players played their part today and was fantastic to see such a good team spirit and finally get the result they deserved. Also thanks to Bellshill for another good and fair game between the teams.

Collecting his 2nd Man of the Match award in 2 games was Conrad who was a constant thorn in the Belshill defence today, although there were a number of contenders from back to front. And finally thanks once again to our MOTM sponsor Window installations Ltd and our shirt sponsor Taal Indian Restaurant for their continued support of grassroots football and our Milton boys 👏🏼👏🏼

Part 2 of our day…

After putting a lot of effort into our game this morning the boys, coaches and parents headed off to Tinto for our sponsored walk

Conditions were much like the JC this morning with heavy rain, strong winds and the occasional glimpse of 🌞

Led by Rory and Harry we made it up the hill for some celebratory haribo, Irn bru and perhaps scotlands other national drink for some of the grown ups 🤔

Typically the weather improved in the way back down so we were grateful to the one player who will remain nameless for losing his phone in the heather and giving a few of us the chance to walk back up and look for it 😂

Massive thanks to everyone who has sponsored the boys, if you haven’t already please visit out go fund me site and help us on our

Another one that got away this morning 🙁

Started off really well and took the lead with a good finish from Cammy but went to sleep and lost two goals in a minute.

A well worked goal from Conrad brought us level just before half-time but the second half was one to forget apart from a late second for Conrad as Motherwell Phoenix emerged 6-3 winners

Todays man of the match sponsored by Window installations Ltd goes to our newest signing, Conrad who marked his first start with two goals ⚽️⚽️

Gameday again already- and we are aiming to start on a high in more ways than one…

Not just a normal game day, it’s the start of our league season as we host Motherwell Phoenix at the JC. Would be great if we can get a big crowd along to get behind the boys as we aim to turn our recent good performances into results 🤞

Once we finish its off mountain climbing we go! As part of our fundraising the boys, coaches and parents are heading up Tinto! Any support is much appreciated and if you can spare a pound or two please either buy some of the home baking and coffee at the game or head to https://www.gofundme.com/f/MiltonRoadToHolland?lid=4tm7sxkzoj6q&cp_src=m and sponsor the boys on their climb 🟡🔵⚽️
