We’re proud to be taking part in the Lanarkshire Climate Festival and this year we’re putting the focus on something simple that we can all change: single use plastic.
Our players are taking the pledge to bring reusable bottles to training and matches wherever they can, and to make sure that any single use plastic that is used gets recycled properly.
It might seem like a small change, but when you’ve got hundreds of young players, families, coaches and volunteers making that change together, it starts to add up.
Football is the game. People are the purpose. Community is the reason we exist.
And looking after the place we call home is part of that community too. 🌍

💛💙 We’re joining the Lanarkshire Climate Festival and our Milton Rovers players are taking on a new challenge.
💧 Bring your reusable bottle to training and matches wherever you can.
♻️ Recycle any single use plastic that does make it onto the pitch.
🙌 And encourage your teammates, coaches and families to do the same.
Because being part of a football club isn’t just about what happens on the pitch. It’s about looking after our team, our community and the place we all call home.
One bottle. One player. One team at a time.
Let’s see how much single use plastic we can kick out of Milton Rovers! 💙💛
