Newquay Seniors were today's visitors to the Bay and brought a strong team over to play against the Cobblers.
They travelled across the County from the North Coast to the South Coast.
It was a pleasant autumnal day, quite mild & dry wirh a freshening South Westerly blowing.
The temperature peaked at 18* in the afternoon and the strongest gust was 29 knots (33 mph) recorded also in the pm.
The course was in fantastic condition with excellent speedy greens after the recent maintenance performed on them earlier in the week👌
The Nearest the Pin for both teams was on the final hole, a par 3 to a red flagged pin152 yards away.
There was a hubbub in Clubhouse as each match chatted away, prior to the post match meal.
This was served by the ever efficient staff and the Roast Beef & trimmings was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone 👌
Past Captain Kevin Stone was deputising for Captain Tony Plummer & Vice-Captain Chris Brazier who were both unavailable.
The result of the match was an honourable draw - well played both sides 👏
