Escape to Wales

Hi all, so I was hoping to have our first get together this month. Unfortunately last weekend I broke my back, two Vertibrae so currently in hospital. I'm guessing it is now going to be autumn or at least kate Summer before I'm able to walk properly again. Really sorry, but we will get going as soon as possible.

Its June and as from mid week onwards I'm free (ish) of huge work loads. Hoorah!! Just wondering whether any of "our" group are doing Strides for Guides? Once Wednesday has come and gone I'll announce the date for our inaugural trek. I'm so excited!! Also just to update everyone who very kindly donated, by the end of May I ran a total of 53.5 miles are raised £325 for Brain Tumour Research. Thank you all so much!

So, mid June I am hoping that we can all meet and my plan is to do the circular Sgwd Yr Eira Waterfall in Brecon Beacons. Due to the terrain it will be weather dependant (don't want any accidents) the location may change if we've had a lot of rainfall beforehand. It's Wales so..I'll update again soon.

Book recommendation: listening to this at the moment, can recommend for those of us with high altitude aspirations...
