Good luck to Carmarthen Triathlon Club's very own James, Jordan, and Osian as they take on the New Forest Triathlon this Sunday, September 6th! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

They’ll be starting off with a swim in Ellingham Waterski Lake, cycling past the famous New Forest wild ponies, and pushing through to the finish line on the local run course.

All that hard training pays off today. Dig deep, pace well, and enjoy every mile out on the course!

When the leader won't tell you the set until you've warmed up you know you're in trouble!

A 7 lap pyramid session tonight, TWICE as the main set. Brutal but how progress is made 💪 The group naturally split into smaller groups who motivated each other to push on, especially on lap 4 🤢

Thanks to Angharad Harry Dew for providing the delicious red velvet birthday cake as a treat at the end too 🎂

On Friday, Jenny and Paul took on the 5.4 mile undulating course with a great run from both. A big congratulations to Jenny, who finished as 4th woman 🏃‍♀️

SWYD Sprint Triathlon
Then on Sunday, Dyfed and Andrew raced in Barry for the 5th stage of Triathlon Cymru’s Super Series. Fantastic effort from both 👏

Tomorrow (Friday), Jenny and Paul take part in the Ras Cilycwm 10km and then on Sunday our Super Series Superstar Dyfed takes on race number 5 of the Super Series this year.

Run Club

Tonight we split into 3 paced groups and ran a 7km loop along the river path. The aim of tonight's session was an easy paced run finishing off our last 4 week block.

The 1st group got a little carried away however and someone (who dhall remain nameless) pushed the pace meaning Jim looked like he'd swam in the Towy by the end 🤣

The rest of us had a lovely chatty run (sorry Jim 🤣)

Great session as always. Same time next week 👌

Thursday's velo session, led by coach Simon was a 20/40 toughie but an epic turn out meant there was plenty of encouragement from all.

Today's social breakfast run was a lovely relaxed 5km loop followed by a coffee and debrief from Chris about Ironman Leeds.

Lots of members putting in big shifts this weekend too as they draw closer to taper week for IMW.
