The rain has finally arrived, the rivers are starting to colour up and we’ve just taken delivery of PLENTY of fresh Dendrobena worms ready for what could be a cracking Bank Holiday weekend! 🎣

You know what they say… rain for the river, worms for the angler and absolutely no excuse for staying on the sofa! 🤣

Our Dendrobenas are fresh, lively and raring to go — although they’ve not been told yet exactly what their weekend plans involve… 😬🪱

A reminder that Carmarthen Sea Anglers have their annual Species Rover Match taking place this Sunday 23rd August — and it’s looking like a brilliant one to get involved in!

⏰ Fishing times: 8am – 8pm

Most anglers already have theirs, but we’ll have additional cards available for collection from Bennett’s Bait & Tackle HQ before the weekend.

🎣 CARMARTHEN SEA ANGLERS – LLANGENNITH THIS SUNDAY! 🌊

Fancy a bit of sea fishing this Sunday? Then why not head down to Llangennith and join the lads from Carmarthen Sea Anglers! 👊🎣

📅 Sunday 16th August
⏰ Fishing: 2pm – 7pm
🌊 Low water: approx. 3:45pm
🎣 A good-sized tide is on the cards!

📍 Meet: Hill End Car Park around 12:45pm
🚶‍♂️ Walk off: 1pm

With this time of year, there should be a good chance of Golden Grey Mullet, along with flatties, bass and perhaps even a hound or two if you’re lucky! 🐟

💷 There’ll also be an optional £5 pool for the heaviest fish caught. Dogfish are excluded from the pool unless no other fish are landed.

And if you’re thinking about joining the club, potential new members are more than welcome to come along and fish with the club. 👍

Just be aware that Llangennith does involve a bit of a walk along the beach to get away from the bathers and surfers, so make sure you’re prepared for a bit of a trek!
