🚨New Kit Alert🚨
With massive thanks to and Fussell’s Specialist Gifts for their kind sponsorship and for the fantastic design. It has got us thinking if any of the boys fancied a run out against the in March, considering we’ve been wearing pod colours since before there was a pod 😉

Don’t call it a comeback…
Actually, you can. The boys are back and will be reigniting the annual 80 minute feud with our friends the on the 18th of March, 2023. If your not there, you probably played lacrosse in uni

When we were unable to play our annual match this year, we challenged the to see which team could cover the most miles over the 6 Nations period. It was also suggested that we raise money for mental heath charity ‘Get The Boys a Lift’
The lead changed hands over the 6 week period and the last couple of weeks have seen the Eddas syepping up their efforts and cutting into the Warriors lead. Last week the Warriors were less than 100 miles ahead.
The Eddas improved again last week and set the highest total so far - 490.
The Warriors also had their best week!
In a France like, last minute winner, the Eddas did just enough to take the challenge by just 16 miles!
Final totals
Primary Eddas 2281+490=2771
Llanelli Warriors 2299+456=2755
More importantly though - the target of £1,000 was surpassed!
Thanks to all who made this Challenge a success - you can still give here:

We really can’t thank everyone that has taken park especially the Warriors enough for their efforts through the challenge, and their massive commitment to the fundraising effort!

Llanelli Warriors & Primary Eddas rugby teams have spent the 6 Nations trying to raise £1,000 for Get the Boys a Lift.
Mental Health has come under the spotlight during Covid. GTBAL are a Pembrokeshire based, non profit, community interest company working at grassroots level: local counselling and group sessions.
The Warriors & Eddas wanted to support this cause and with a week to go have raised over £850
If you are able, please consider making a donation here:

Less important than the money but the two clubs are competing to cover the most mileage over the 6 Nations
It was another record week for the Eddas who recorded 426 to bring their total to 2281
They made significant ground on the Warriors who recorded 353 and their total of 2299 is now just 18 as we head into the final week
One theory for difference is the poor weather with the Eddas getting through some serious treadmill action

£800 raised for ‘Get the Boys a Lift’ in the name of the Primary Eddas v Llanelli Warriors 6 Nations Challenge so just £200 to left to reach the £1,000 target.

Both teams have been out in the sun racking up the miles - some people obviously warmer than others, Jon Mattick going top off for the Eddas while Llodipop is again repping Pro Panther
The Eddas had their best week with 402 covered but the Warriors stretched ahead again with 448
Still less than 100 miles between the teams though. Warriors total 1946 to the Eddas 1855

And just like that, our time at the top has come to an end. Great effort from everyone sees the take this week with 450 miles to our 389 seeing them take the overall lead with 1498 to our 1452. So in times of great difficulty there’s only one person who can save us now. A bloke who could breeze past Mo Farah in a marathon and nick your bird in the process, get your fast daps on we need your help! Again, massive thanks to everyone for they’re involvement and continued support!

Week three and the take it again 410-398 however we stay ahead 1096-1048. Few of the boys will be strapping they’re fit bits and apple watches to their dogs legs this week to keep this lead 👀 £580 of the £1,000 target for hit so far and we’re only half way through! Thanks again for your continued support!
