Our first team managed to secure a hard fought victory against a battling Penylan A Team.

It was close all the way through with the home team managing to hold onto a small lead throughout... Conditions for the game were tough with the green being very wet and particularly heavy, but we were blessed with glorious sunshine for the entirety of the game and glad to get it played! 👏

Unfortunately, our A team suffered a narrow away defeat, losing by just 11 shots.

We welcome Penylan A to our green today. Promotion is already secured, but we still want those valuable points, with the league title still very much on the cards!

Our A Team travel to Millwood, hoping for a win that could be crucial in their fight to stay in the division. As it stands, the game is ON, but Millwood will be carrying out a green inspection at 12pm, so we’ll await confirmation.

In the Quarter Final of the Super 8 last night under the floodlights at MWE Cardiff took on Thomastown. Having already been knocked out of the Top Club by Thomastown earlier in the Season we knew we'd be in for a hard battle.

The game was nip and tuck all the way with no more than a handful of shots in it... We managed to take a 6 shot lead into the 18th end and with both Rinks picking up on the final end we managed to book our spot in the Semi's.

Rink Scores of 25-10 and 17-18 saw us finish up 42-28 Winners. Thank you to everyone who took part and particularly to Sue Davies and Tracy Gowen who stepped in at short notice.

Good luck to Lauren Gowen who is playing with Gwen Lewis in the under 25 pairs tomorrow at the National Finals. You’ve got this 🍀🍀

A good game against Gilfach this afternoon. We almost repeated yesterday’s result and fought our way to victory, but unfortunately for us, Gilfach did enough to stay ahead and earn themselves 11 points.

A double header for the First Team this weekend!

We’re back in action this afternoon with another tough away game against Gilfach! 💪

Our first team had a great result on the road today! 💪

It was truly a game of two halves. The home team took control early and were around 25 shots up, but great battling from our lads saw us fight our way back and get the win over the line! 👏

Unfortunately, our A team suffered a narrow home defeat, losing by just 1 shot.

The First Team still have promotion in their sights, while the A Team are right in the mix with a number of teams fighting hard to stay in the division.
