Another busy weekend for our Minis & Juniors!

Our Minis travelled across West Wales and represented the club brilliantly on both Saturday and Sunday morning. Boys and girls U6s through to U11s enjoying their football and continuing to develop, there’s plenty of evidence that the future is very bright for the club!

Across the competitive Junior ages, the U14 Boys hosted the league leaders at Maridunum Fields on Saturday. A valiant effort from the boys, but they ultimately lost out to a very good side.

Congratulations to our U12 Girls, who won 6-3 in their WWWGL seeding match this morning. WW completed a hat-trick, FB scored twice and SP was also on the scoresheet.

The U13 Girls remain unbeaten after another impressive league win, scoring seven along the way! LB, ED and NN all scored once, with CJ and AJ both grabbing doubles.

Many of our Minis teams were out across the county representing the club over the weekend. Whether it was rain or shine, there was plenty of football and, most importantly, plenty of enjoyment!

For the Juniors, every one of our teams that had a fixture this weekend came away with a win!

U13 Boys secured a 2-1 away win, with DW scoring both goals.

Seven goals and a clean sheet for the U16 Boys, with seven different scorers – CJ, KMS, OT, OR, JY, RL & KS.

U12 Girls enjoyed success in the Bonnie McGinn Cup at home with a 4-0 win. ET, IH, LB & SP all got on the scoresheet.

U13 Girls secured a 4-0 away win, with MJ and NN both scoring twice.

Well done to every player, coach and supporter, especially those who got wet! ☔️

Our U9 Girls had the opportunity to join the U8 Boys session in Carmarthen this morning, giving them another brilliant chance to get plenty of football under their belts.

A great experience for the girls, testing themselves in a different environment and continuing to develop their confidence and skills!

12/13th September weekend round up!

All of our Minis got their seasons underway! Loads of goals, loads of smiles and, most importantly, plenty of youngsters enjoying their football. A special well done to everyone who pulled on the JFC shirt for their very first matches for the club!

The U13 Girls, our only junior girls’ side in action continued their fantastic start to the season with a five-goal home win! CJ, NN, MJ and two late goals from AJ sealed another impressive result for the girls.

The u13 boys raced into an early 2–0 lead thanks to goals from SF and DW. They battled right to the end but were denied all three points by a stoppage-time equaliser, eventually sharing the points.

U14 & U16 Boys both battled hard in their league fixtures and gave everything, but unfortunately neither were able to pick up any points this weekend.

A brilliant weekend with so many of our young players back out on the pitch representing JFC! Well done to all our players and thanks to all coaches, volunteers and supporters!
