One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned working with the body is that pain doesn’t always tell the full story.

The area shouting the loudest is often just the place carrying the stress — not necessarily the place that created it.

A painful knee may be adapting to a restricted hip.

A tight neck may be compensating for how the ribs, shoulders, or spine are moving.

A sore back may be the result of patterns built elsewhere.

The body doesn’t work as separate parts.

It works as a connected system.

That’s why chasing symptoms alone can become frustrating.

If we only focus on where it hurts, we may miss the reason it started.

The question isn’t always:

“Where is the pain?”

Sometimes the better question is:

“Why is this area having to work so hard?”

Find the cause.

Restore the balance.

Help the body do what it was designed to do.

Our Year 8 girls are the NEBSSA netball league champions. They played their final last week against a strong Sperrin Integrated team. Final score was 22-14. Player of the match Maya Skelton, whose shooting and match play has been outstanding throughout the season. Thanks to coach Betty and assistants Sophia and Lucy. What a season girls💪🏼💪🏼
