Castle Cary Cygnets Majorettes The Castle Cary Cygnets are a fun and friendly majorette troupe.

The girls are aged 6+ and love to perform their routines at fetes, carnivals and different events.

Up againgst much bigger troupes, and dancing their hearts out, our Cygnets came away with

After a little summer break, The Cygnets are back in action✨️

We were delighted to be dancing at both and Kilmington Home Guard Club , and also Templecombe Village, and received such a lovely reception at both fetes.

The Cygnets Majorettes put on a fantastic and colourful show at the Cary in Bloom 2026
These girls did amazing dancing in the heat, and adapting routines to cover missing spaces, as some couldn't attend. They caught flying baton exchanges, and pompoms were sparkling in the sunshine. They switched their uniforms for a summer version and to be part of the 'blooming with colour' theme 🌻

Flying the England flags to support England football team

With thanks to Les for the pa/music, the Cary in Bloom team of helpers, local councils, The Newt in Somerset and of course all of our wonderful supporters and followers.
