**Last league game of the season - Result**

Today we travelled to Thatto Heath for our final league game of the season with just 12 players, after a number of injuries left us short. It was always going to be a tough challenge, but every single girl gave absolutely everything.

The effort, determination, courage and teamwork on display were outstanding. Every player stood up, worked for one another, and showed exactly what this team is all about. Every single one of them deserved recognition for their commitment and performance today.

Now it’s time for a well-earned break. Rest, recover and come back...ready for the cup games ahead.

What a game of rugby tonight!

It was a close contest from the first whistle right until the very end, with both teams giving absolutely everything. It was a fantastic game to watch and a brilliant advert for girls rugby, showcasing the talent, determination and passion on display from both sides.

A massive well done to our Lock Lane girls. The defensive effort was outstanding all game, with the team showing incredible determination, resilience and heart. Every single player put in a huge shift tonight and should be proud of the effort and commitment they showed.
