A huge thank you to Esther Walton from Loughborough Lightning and Heidi from Leeds Rhinos Netball for delivering such a fantastic session with some of our young Comets this evening 🧡🖤

The girls had an amazing time, learned so much, and were inspired by your knowledge, enthusiasm and encouragement. Sessions like these are invaluable in helping our players develop their skills, confidence and love for the game.

Thank you both for making it such a memorable evening. We are looking forward to our next session.

Last weekend we took place for the second year running in the Weston Park Charity Tournament!

Both of our teams had a great day in the sunshine, there were lots of laughs and a brilliant atmosphere ☀️

Castleford Comets are looking for a few new players to strengthen our teams for the current and upcoming season. ✨

➡️ For our Monday Night Social League Division 2 team, we’re looking for a defender and a mid-court player, ideally someone who plays Wing Attack or Wing Defence and is available to start asap with Comets Purple. Matches are played on Monday evenings, mainly at Kings High School in Pontefract.

➡️ Following our recent promotion for Comets 1 in the West Yorkshire League to Division 4, we’re also looking for a circle defender to join the team. Matches are played on Saturday mornings at various venues across West Yorkshire, and players would need to be available to train on Wednesday evenings where possible.

💥 We’d also love to welcome new players to our regular Wednesday night training sessions at Lock Lane. Your first session is completely free, and everyone is welcome, whatever your experience or ability. Whether you’re returning to netball, looking for a new club or just want to give it a go!

We’re a friendly, supportive and ambitious club, and we’d love to hear from you.
