This weekend we welcome local rivals Featherstone Lions ARLFC to The Chris North Properties Stadium in Round 17 of the NCRL

We know that fev won’t make any excuses this weekend and will show up with their strongest 17 possible for this big derby! We’ve not played in 4 weeks so we are fired up and there is no better game to get back out there than against top of the table fev.

Last time out was a cracking game with us losing out on taking all the points on the very last play of them game.

We’d love to see those sidelines packed out this weekend for this big derby

It’s getting extremely boring and annoying making these posts now. But this weekends NCL fixture is off as Newsome have today decided that their pitch is unplayable as it’s too hard…. We’d like to remind everyone that all other games and junior games are going ahead this weekend as planned…..

Little do they know we’ve been told by one of their own lads, they’ve players away or injured😂

As everyone else’s season is almost coming to an end we’ve 7 fixtures still left to play🫠

Anyway, we hope you froggy faithful have a cracking weekend and we may see you on the sideline next week, it’s flip of a coin at minute if we play or not

FRYSTON WARRIORS ACADEMY 2027!!

after a successful meeting we are pleased to announce that we will be running an Academy team for next season which will be playing in the YML leagues!

This is absolutely massive for us at Fryston as we’ve not had a second team down at the club for years! Having two teams creates healthy competition which will make players even better throughout the open age set up!

We have confirmed the coaches for the new academy team and they will be announced in due course.

Better late than never….

At the weekend we hosted Kippax who made the short journey over the river in round 14.

Kippax started off strong and capitalised on our mistakes. The first 40 minutes was a back and fourth battle with us leading at the break. A few words from the coaching staff gave the lads a kick up the arse and we help kippax scoreless in the second half but credit to the young Kippax side for 80 minutes they did not stop coming at us, making us work hard for that win!

Well deserved Week off this Saturday as we build for Newsome away next week
