We don’t often post about what we do here at Chaos and what makes us unique. It’s difficult to describe really but we’ll try our best.
Our training environment is based on what you would find at a Rugby League club. Not the training, just how we are. We expect people to try their best, we have created an environment where that is supported no matter what your level is, our job is to make your best a bit better every time you come here and before you know it you’re enjoying your training and enjoying the process of improving.
Everyone that trains here is on a program, we have a few different programs running which cater for a mix of abilities and training goals. We have evolved how we write our main membership program over the last 9 years. It is 2 main strength sessions designed to give you enough stimulus to get you stronger and make a positive change in your body. After that we have add on or ‘extra’ sessions for you to choose from depending on your goals.
Our sessions are limited numbers to help everyone flow through their sessions without waiting for equipment. The lower numbers also allows us to help coach people that need more support and gives more experienced trainers the space needed to get good sessions in!
We have a support network in the background where coaches and other members can help you and ask questions. We adopt an ‘each one teach one’ mentality with our experienced members. If they have been with us a while they know how we work and they will want to help you as much as they can.
We have great coaches here. We are surrounded by great people/members. This is an outstanding place to be and to train. We are incredibly proud that we have made it this far without jumping on the latest fitness craze or offering insane transformation packages that just aren’t healthy or sustainable.
The Chaos way is to build genuine strength through progressive overload and quality movement. Improving coordination, balance, muscle function, conditioning and more. And we have a great time doing it!
If this sounds like the place for you, please reach out for a chat about how we can help you get going. Maybe this time we’ll be the ones to keep you going?

As the weather starts to improve, most of us have probably gained a bit of winter weight and are looking to drop a bit of timber in time for holiday season.
The coaches here at Chaos are no different.
There are a few things I have done to help make sure I maintain my muscle mass and strength whilst sitting in a calorie deficit to reduce body fat.
I started at just over 97kg about 4 weeks ago and currently sit just under 93kg, energy and quality of my training sessions hasn’t dipped and my body feels pretty good.
Jamie’s rules for maintaining as much strength and muscle mass whilst being a bit less fat…
1. Increase my calorie expenditure - I’ve added in 3 extra conditioning sessions per week. 2 x Zone 2 (low level) and 1 x Off feet con (high intensity).
2. Decrease my calorie intake - I will start tracking my food on MyFitnessPal as best I can, I started at around 2500 per day and am currently around 2200 per day. I am in a more aggressive deficit right now as a final push for a holiday. This is not something I will sustain as it would have a negative effect on my strength.
3. Hit my protein goal of 200g per day (2.2g per KG of bodyweight). I am always pretty close to this but it’s definitely the hardest part to get consistently.
4. 10g creatine every day. The health benefits of creatine are well documented and most people can benefit from adding this to their diet.
5. 3L water every day. For me that is a lot of water, but I do feel better for it.
6. Electrolyte supplement every day. Extra water and training means higher loss of electrolytes these are important for brain and muscle function, energy and recovery as well as maintaining a good pH balance to help organ function.
I don’t get these right every day, it’s unrealistic to think you will. But most days I’m pretty close and if I do slip up I don’t beat myself up about it I embrace the slip up as part of life and get back on track.
If anyone wants to join our WhatsApp group to ask questions or get some pointers about this stuff then link is in the bio. If you are thinking about joining then reach out and let’s chat or just comment on the post and we will get in touch!
Stay happy!
An afternoon of caffeine and rock to round off what’s been a great strength block for the coaches👏🏽 Trust us it’s worth the full watch😂
hitting a lifetime trap bar PB of 260x1 and both and hitting lifetime bench PBs of 140x1 and 112.5x1 respectively🫡
Time to for the summer tidy up now🏖️

Summer is just around the corner ☀️
Next week our coaches are shifting their training goals to a 12 week “Summer Shred”. No crazy transformations, just a little tidy up from all that winter indulgence.
One of the key things to success when in a fat loss phase is accountability so with that in mind we thought we’d set up a WhatsApp chat for absolutely anyone to join (don’t have to be member!!🙌🏼) in here we’ll share little ideas, tips and just general bits of support as a group with a common goal👏🏽
