Castleford Town Girls u14s (26/27) are recruiting for next season.

All positions considered including Goalkeeper. Due to the division experience is preferred for all positions.

Girls in Year 9 or 8 as of September 2026

A very talented squad coming off the back of a successful season. Winners of the Mavis cup , WRGFL U13 Cup finalist and 3rd in the league(two points of the top).

Training is Wednesday with games played on Saturday in division 1 of the WRGFL. Based in WF10/WF8

A fun family environment, with a focus on technical and development with Uefa qualified coaches.

COACHES WANTED⚽️

We are saddened to learn the heartbreaking news that 10 year old Ella has passed away after a brave battle with Cancer. She was a talented and dedicated young grassroots footballer at local clubs Wakefield AFC and Rothwell Juniors.

We as a club send our thoughts and condolences to all who knew Ella, both on and off the football field, including her family. In memory of Ella all of our junior teams will be holding a minute's silence before their games this weekend which we ask all spectators to join in with please.
