The very best of luck to all from Nitowa - Northern Ireland Tug of War Association who has travelled to Bedford this weekend to complete in the British & Irish Championships. Wishing you all the best lads 🤞💪

Yesterday was the conclusion of the Nitowa - Northern Ireland Tug of War Association championships where we got onto the mats for both the 640kg & 560kg weights. Finishing fourth in both weights we lost out to stronger opponents in both semi finals. It was very much a family affair yesterday with the Mc Auleys well represented when young Sean pulled his first competition alongside his mother and father. Well done to Sean and our other novices, Sam and Johnnie. The club is proud of you lads 👌⚫🟡

Tough night at the Nitowa - Northern Ireland Tug of War Association 680/600kg championships. The club is indebted to Noel, Nelson, Sam, Ryan and Karen for making sure we got out on the mats. Special mention on the club's first father/son and husband/wife pairing. I'm sure it made for an interesting car journey home 😜⚫🟡

Tough weekends pulling for the lads, first up was a trip to Tyrone for Ballyhegan Tug of War Club pull on Saturday. A well organised and great night's pulling. On to Donegal on Sunday for another tough day on the mats organised by kinletter tug of war club . Again, a hard day with some great ends on display. Special mention to DJs all the way from the USA, hope you enjoyed Ireland lads and a safe trip home 💪👌

Last night we hosted the latest round of the Nitowa - Northern Ireland Tug of War Association pulls in St Peters Community Centre in Lurgan. The club is extremely grateful to our officials on the night who kept things running smoothly, thank you David, Joe, William, Hugh and Vernon.

Thanks also to the wonderful ladies on the night who served refreshments, sold tickets and cleared the hall. Thanks Rhonda, Karen, Michelle and Lara.

And finally thanks to Mike Ryan for his raffle donations, St Peter's for the brilliant venue and all the clubs who travelled last night to make things very competitive 💪⚫🟡

We are delighted to be hosting the next round of the Nitowa - Northern Ireland Tug of War Association competitions this coming Saturday. There will be refreshments available on the day for all teams and spectators ☕
