This page is dedicated to the fans of St Johns GAA, Drumnaquoile Clanvaraghan was again fielding teams in the 1917-1918 period.
Any history of St John's, Drumnaquoile must include the history of Gaelic games in Drumaroad and Clanvaraghan. The GAA came early to the area and the newspaper "Sport" carried reports of games of Gaelic football between Clanvaraghan Harps and Belfast teams as far back as 1891-92. We wrapped up our final blitz of the season today for the u10 girls with an away trip to Dundrum and had 4 realy competitive matches against Kilcoo and Bryansford and our hosts👏
We were most proud of how the girls applied themselves and worked for each other💪
Saoirse, Aoife, Amarah and Ellie-May were strong in defence, while Maeve and Cara drove the midfield to set up scoring opportunities for Erin, Cerys, Kate, and May !
Clara and Caitlin also stepped up with important scores and worked back to help in midfield !
