Twilight Cricket - a reminder that the final game of the season is this Friday 28th against a CCRFC Rugby XI - we have a variety of food from KITSCH.streetfood. , the bar is fully stocked and will be open at 5.00PM. Let’s have a great turn out to finish the Twilight season and welcome in the start of the rugby season.

With the ongoing hot weather, the RFU have taken the view to delay the start of the season. We will update our fixture list shortly.

After careful consideration and consultation with clubs across England, the RFU has decided to delay the start of the competitive community game season until the week commencing Monday 21 September.

The RFU recognises this will be disappointing for clubs, players and volunteers who have been preparing for the new season, but the decision follows consideration of a range of factors. For full details please follow this link.

We’re delighted to announce Louis Ellsmore as CCRFC's new Club Captain for the 2026/27 season!

Louis takes on the role after playing for the club for many seasons, and we’re looking forward to seeing him lead the team both on and off the pitch.

A huge thank you to our outgoing Captains Ryan Dymott and Sam Rolinson for their leadership, commitment and everything they’ve done for the club.

New Head Coach Announcement – 2026/27 Season

We are delighted to announce that Sam Smith will be joining us as Head Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Sam brings a wealth of playing experience to the role, having represented London Scottish, Worcester Warriors and England Under 20s during an impressive rugby career. His knowledge of the game, passion for player development and competitive mindset make him an exciting appointment for the club as we look ahead to the next chapter.

As we welcome Sam, we would also like to give our genuine thanks to outgoing Head Coach, Swifty, for his outstanding dedication, commitment and leadership over the past three seasons.

During his tenure, the club has enjoyed some memorable successes, including winning the league title last season and lifting the Plate Cup Final this season. Beyond the silverware, Swifty leaves the role having helped build a strong, competitive squad and a culture that will provide a solid foundation for the future.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Swifty for everything he has contributed and wish him all the very best for the future.
