We have over thirty years experience in coaching and organising Clay Pigeon Shooting events. Welcome to Island Clay Breaks.

We specialise in Clay Pigeon Shooting and holidays for those who wish to experience this unique and enjoyable sport. Located on the beautiful south coast of the Isle of Wight, we can offer a memorable and enjoyable time at our Shooting grounds. We cater for many types of people including corporate team building events, stag nights or hen experiences, those who wish to start Clay Pigeon Shooting or individuals that are looking to brush up their skills using our experienced coaches.

40th Birthday Celebrations for Tim at the chine this morning, shooting a 50 clay experience each. Nathan taking home the ‘Top Shot’ certificate. Some challenging clays due to being a bit blustery but excellent scores all round!

🎯 CLAY PIGEON TRAP OPERATOR / SHOOT SET-UP – ATHERFIELD BAY, IOW 🎯

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to help with setting up and operating a clay pigeon shoot at Atherfield Bay, Isle of Wight.

📅 Every other Sunday
⏰ Approximately 8.30am – 1.30pm
📍 Atherfield Bay, Isle of Wight

There may also be opportunities to work at additional shoots when available.

The role includes:

• Setting up and putting away clay pigeon traps
• Operating traps during the shoot
• General help with setting up and running the shoot
• Ensuring everything is ready for shooters on the day

You must:

✅ Be over 25
✅ Hold a full UK driving licence
✅ Be physically fit enough for the setting-up work
✅ Be reliable, punctual and responsible
✅ Ideally have some experience with clay pigeon shooting or trap operation, although training may be available for the right person.

Looking for a clay pigeon trap operator. Every other Sunday Morning for approx 5 hours. Based at Atherfield Bay. Must have full driving licence and over the age of 25. Must be physically able to operate a manuel trap which requires a certain amount of strength and lifting them on and off a trailer on own and they’re pretty heavy!
MUST be reliable and committed to these Sundays. Suit a countryside lover and looking to earn a bit of cash! Please PM me if you know of anyone x
