We use it to run courses from the RYA's Powerboat Scheme including the most popular one - Level 2 Powerboat Handling. Our training area on the tidal River Medway from here at Chatham Maritime Marina is almost perfect in terms of supporting this course 💙

Following its acquisition at the end of last year, Guardian Marine Training Services will still be operating out of Chatham Maritime Marina but Elite Sailing will be looking after its bookings etc. Elite Sailing's historic Dutch barge, Maaike Maria, is now also serving as Guardian Marine's office and classroom too. See our RIB moored next to Maaike Maria in the photo!

These two established and highly regarded RYA Training Centres will continue to operate separately but under the same management - indeed, following cross-training, even some of Elite Sailing's instructors will instruct for Guardian Marine too.

This is Vasilis, I did my powerboat level 2 course together with my friend Panos at some point back in mid-July this year if you remember. Hope you’re well.

I just wanted to let you know that I managed to rent a boat here in Greece (Koufonisia) only with the license you gave me, not the international one. Although wheather was challenging to say the least (up to 22 knots) I was able to manage fine and enjoy.
It was just me and my gf onboard.

I think the course we did back then was great and gave me confidence to go at sea on my own!
