💚 A Huge Thank You to Our Volunteers 🙏
Today was a perfect reminder of what makes Bruntwood Park BMX Club so special.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who gave up their time to help improve the track, cabins and surrounding areas. With so many people pitching in, we achieved an enormous amount in just a few hours.
✅ A new feature on the second straight to add an extra technical challenge for riders
✅ Key features on the track resurfaced
✅ Cabins cleaned, organised and upgraded
✅ Fence line repairs completed
✅ The old cabin transformed into a workshop and storage space
✅ General improvements across the site to make the track an even better place to ride
What many people don’t see is that Bruntwood Park BMX Club is entirely volunteer-led, with members giving their time to maintain and improve the facility throughout the year. The club not only supports coaching, racing and rider development, but also helps maintain the track on behalf of the council so it remains a safe, high-quality facility for the wider community to enjoy. The club’s development plans place a strong emphasis on volunteer contribution and continued investment in the rider and visitor experience.
Every roller, berm, fence repair and facility improvement you see here has been delivered by volunteers, working with Stockport Council helping ensure this free-to-use public BMX track remains available for the whole community.
Today’s work is another example of members giving back, not just for the benefit of the club, but for everyone who uses Bruntwood Park BMX track.
