⚫️ ⚪️RESULTS⚪️⚫️
Firsts - Baddow first’s traveled away to Felsted Rovers for a double header on what’s best described as a cow field.
With a very poor start to the game we found ourselves 2-0 down in first 5 mins through 2 similar goals….Baddow regrouped and pulled a goal back through a Cam Mear header and then shortly after Billy Colgate was taken out in the box with Jack Nicholls converted to bring the game level going into half time.
Second half was a bit scrappy and a few yellow cards before Will Smith rose to head in Baddows winner.
Second game started and clearly Will Smith still buzzing for his winner let the ball roll under his feet for the Felsted striker to smash home. 1-0
Again baddow regrouped and earned themselve another penalty that Jack Nicholls smashed home HT 1-1
A very boring second half with many heavy legs with time running out Cam mear rose from a free kick to head baddow to another victory. 2-1
6 points in the bag

⚫️ ⚪️RESULTS⚪️⚫️
Firsts- Baddow firsts went to Shenfield in Qf of the cup hoping to continue there good recent form
Baddow started strongly and found themselves 1-0 after Jack Nicholls headed home from a corner, seconds before the half time whistle Shenfield equalised against the run of play
The second half started the same as the first but somehow Shenfield found away to take a shock lead
With minutes remaining in normal time Billy Colgate headed baddow back level
Extra time kicked off and baddow went back in front after another Billy Colgate goal before Shenfield somehow again pulled themselves level
With seconds to go on the clock on penalties looming the ball broke on the edge of the box with Joe youngs looping effort found the top corner to spark wild celebrations
Roll on the semi final
Sundays - The Sundays hosted Heybridge this week in the first game of the farcical newly formed league and dominated the ball throughout. 2 very good performances from Jack Nicholls and Ross Judge saw Baddow play some of their best football of the season. The hosts took the lead with Ste Shelley slotting home after some individual brilliance from Sam Davis forcing a defensive error. Baddow failed to capitalise of chances created and were made to pay in the 2nd half when Heybridge equalised with a tidy finish inside the box. Baddow continued to huff and puff and eventually were awarded a penalty late on after a foul on Brad Cooke who came to life second half. Despite missing the penalty, Ste Shelley was there to slam home the rebound. The visitors lost their heads after the penalty incident and finished the last few mins of the game down to 9 men. A thoroughly deserved victory. Man of the match this week was Sam Davis.

Firsts- Baddow firsts travelled to broomfield for a must win game this weekend with a injury hit squad and no players to choose from
Baddow started on the front foot and we’re rewarded with a early goal thanks to Paul harvey, it was soon 2 after the hard working Billy Colgate struck a low strike thru the keeper and that’s how it stayed till ht
Second half baddow again pilled on the pressure and we’re rewarded a penalty which the skipper Jack Nicholls tucked away
The game finished we a needless red card from the broomfield winger
