We are back for our first game of 2022!!! (Weather&Covid permitting) Our opponents are Tiptree Jobserve Reserved who sit just 1 point above us in the league with us having played 2 games less. We havent quite found our start of the season form of late but with all the changes and delays that have gone on theres no suprise there. As we approach every game we will be looking forward positively and working as hard as we can to get the win !! 🔴⚫🔴⚫

We have been quiet on here recently due to our last couple of games being postponed due to the weather 🌧🌧🌧 And also due to the team being taken over by new management. Current club captain Jack Cox has taken the roll over as manager with current player Mike Rogers as his assistant 🔴⚫🔴⚫

This weekend we look to avenge Tiptree Jobserve Reserves for our loss on the 1st day of the season by going up against them in the League Cup. After 3 losses in a row, We need to stick together as a team and really try to bounce back to winning ways. 🔴⚫🔴⚫

Manager Steve Troop after match report-

Today saw us travelling away to an in form top of the league Stisted Reserves. Trying to find our earlier in the season form, we started out strong and confident.
Coming off the back of a hard loss last week, we was at a full squad of 16 which gave me an opportunity to try a new formation.
On a whole the formation looked to be working with us passing well and when possible using our target man.
An unfortunate 3 early first half injuries, meant that forced changes had to be made.
Stisted Reserves was lucky not to have a player sent off for violent conduct in the second half.
Tom Ellis finished a good one on one with the keeper and Jamie "The Trojan" Hood scored a well deserved goal.
The score line didn't reflect our performance and on a different day could of easily been in our favour.
As a manager I was very pleased with the effort and passion by the team, Even chasing the ball down to the last minute.
Hopefully we can take that attitude and passion into next weeks League Cup game.

Today wasnt our day, we had to take a Loss. Missing some key players and players playing out of position we took a defeat to Notley Reserves, Who got a well deserved win. We move on to next weekend, Where we will re group and start again. 🔴⚫🔴⚫
