Women’s Safety Conference a Success

Today we hosted a dedicated event for women and girls across the borough, bringing partners and the community together to help make Basildon a safer place.

The morning was packed with interactive workshops, self-defence sessions, networking opportunities, and information stalls from local organisations offering advice, guidance, and support.

It was a valuable opportunity for attendees to connect with local services, access practical support, and share feedback to help shape future action on women’s safety in our community.

We are listening, we are acting, and we’re continuing to build a safer borough together.
