Weight Management Auricular Acupuncture (WMAA)

It’s that time of year when most of us are thinking about healthy eating & lifestyle choices. We probably try it every year, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t or it works but then we revert back to our “usual” habits.
Have you ever thought that it may be hormones that are responsible for weight gain or loss rather than your eating habits/cravings etc? If your hormones are not releasing correctly this creates an imbalance which can have many effects on us and our bodies. These hormones also affect our sleep cycles & stress levels amongst other things.
Auricular Acupuncture rebalances the hormones, resetting the bodies natural release of hormones that let us know if we are hungry or not.
Auricular Acupuncture is a painless, (ok, well, you may feel a slight pinch in some points but nothing terrible), treatment which accesses our hormonal release mechanisms via points on the ear.
It works in a similar manner to reflexology accessing certain parts of the body through the points on the feet. Auricular Acupuncture works on points of the ear which correspond to parts of our body & brain.
The results of WMAA are astonishing showing some of those treated losing several pounds a week and almost all losing at a steady rate of 1lb weekly after the initial bigger first week or so loss. It also can work to gain weight for those people who find it difficult to keep weight on.
