A hard-fought season has officially come to an end.

Congratulations to Chelmer Athletic that ran away with the title this season. We didn’t finish where we’d hoped but it’s the fine margins we’ll work on over the summer as we look to come back stronger next season.

Thanks to all those that have supported the club this season. Without the support of the Chairman, management, players and our fantastic sponsor , we wouldn’t be where we are as a club today.

Football is back and we’re delighted to have a full schedule of fixtures in April. The games come thick and fast, starting this weekend as we host City Supporters. The league is incredibly tight in the middle of the pack so every point counts. Bring on the remaining fixtures of the season. COYCW

The FA welcomed the UK Govt’s plans for easing restrictions, so all being well, we can look forward to a safe return of from 29th March. We’re absolutely buzzing as a club to get back to it soon and dust off the boots - it’s been far too long.

To share this positivity, we’re going to be following some of our peers and start a ‘Follow Friday’ initiative to help small businesses that will need all our support when restrictions are lifted. Many have endured tough times so it’d be great if our followers show some extra love to those that might need it most when things open back up.

We’ll be doing this every Friday until the season resumes (and potentially further if it goes well).

Vision MOTM today goes to skipper . Lead from the back, contributed with some big tackles and was dominant in the air. Well played Kurt 👏🏼👏🏼

FULL TIME!

If there's ever been a scoreline that paints a different picture to the actual game, this was it. 2 first half penalties and a couple of defensive errors were the difference today. A formational change meant we dominated the whole second half, creating an abundance of chances but we were unable to capitalise on any of them. Very disappointing to be going into this extended break without these 3 points, but we will be back to go again.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Congrats to our MOTM . Linked up everything today in the centre of midfield, bossed everything in the air and was a part of the build up for the majority of our chances. Well played Colin!👏🏼👏🏼

FULL TIME

One to be proud of today. We lined up with a strong 11, with our man-in-form Omar anchoring a strong attacking set up which included a first start of the season for . An early goal from & a long range strike from on the stroke of half time meant we went into the break 2-1 up. Another good finish from & an unfortunate Chelmer own goal set up a cagey last 10, but some strong defending and a late world class save from our keeper was enough to claim the 3 points.
