Grove Chelmsford Lawn Tennis Club The Grove is a friendly LTA affiliated tennis club in Chelmsford with six astroturf floodlit courts, a practice wall, clubhouse with licensed bar and parking.

Thanks everyone who came to our Clubhouse Grand Opening evening a couple of weekends ago, around 70 attended. It was a FAB evening with great music and incredible pizzas - the carbonara pizza was a hit with the members! It was a brilliant way to celebrate our newly decorated clubhouse.

Another big congratulations to Zack Copping for winning this years One-point Pryor Cup Tournament, and a thank you to Rob Eldridge and Olly Greenslade for organising the event.

And a special thank you to all those who helped make this event the success: Megan, Annie, Jess, Chris, Sasha, Kenneth, Lucy, Phil, Catherine, Liv, Andy Price, and Andy Borely.

We managed to raise an amazing £310 for Prostate Cancer UK.

Last weekend we hosted the FAST4 Regional Tour at the Grove.

There was an Incredible standard of tennis which was a joy to watch.

We will celebrate our recently updated clubhouse with:

🍕 Pizzas made by Chef Chris from 7pm
🎾 Social tennis after our 1-point tournament
🏆 Celebration ceremony for our Club Championship finalists
🍾 Prosecco to celebrate!

We are running a Wimbledon men’s singles final watch party on Sunday July 12th. We will have:

📺. A big screen in the club house to watch the men’s final

🎾. Social tennis from 2pm

🥂. Bar open with Pimm’s for sale

🍰. Cream tea (scones, cake, sandwiches etc) included.
