Over the summer, our Women & Girls team have been heading out to Girl Guide groups across the county to run Catch the Spirit taster sessions 🏏

They've engaged over 250 girls through this scheme and taught the girls lots of new skills 👏

𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝟭-𝟮-𝟭 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 🏏

We are offering dedicated 1-2-1 batting coaching sessions for women aged 15+ on 24 & 25 August at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground 👭

Each 50-minute session will be tailored to the individual player's needs. Whether they want to work on a specific aspect of their batting or simply receive an assessment of their game, our coaches will help identify areas for development and build confidence at the crease 🙌

🗣️ Players will receive:
• Individual coaching from an experienced female coach
• A personalised assessment of their batting technique
• Practical drills and coaching points to take away
• Clear guidance on what to work on back at their club and in their own practice

⏰ Session times available:
• 6:00pm
• 7:00pm
• 8:00pm

💷 Cost: £25 per session

Places are limited, with 4/5 coaching slots available at each time, so we encourage players to book early to avoid disappointment ‼️

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 ⭐️

This week, three teams from East London headed up to Nottingham for the Chance to Shine National Street Finals 🏆

Newham Girls Street Club U12s came second overall and received their medals from Fatima Sana (Captain of Pakistan Women). Leyton Young Adults Street Club placed third in their finals day. Robert Clack U15s also had an impressive day although not taking home a medal 💪

Congratulations to all our teams for making it all the way to the final, it was a great day with great skill, sportsmanship and resilience on show 👏

Chance to Shine

Essex all-rounder Ronnie Jackson is currently on international duty with the England Men's Mixed Disability squad. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

So far Ronnie has featured in three of the four IT20 matches against India Men's Mixed Disability team, totalling 99 runs. 🙌

The seven-match series continues today at 14:30 down at Arundel Castle Cricket Club. 🔜
