This welcoming social session is aimed at attracting ladies looking to start or make a return to tennis. No experience required, simply aimed to bring great fun and exercise.

The experience is free of charge, but we request you book for us to be able to ensure availability!

WE ARE HIRING! Riverside Leisure Centre has an exciting new position available for an Assistant Swimming Instructor

We are currently seeking a qualified Assistant Swimming Instructors who are passionate about teaching and inspiring both children and adults.

You will support our swimming instructors in delivering our year round swimming lesson programme, helping learners build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their goals in the water.

This role is for a contracted 4.5 hours with potential to increase across the wider programme.

Podium Success for Chelmsford City Sports Ambassador Lulu Alexandra

Chelmsford City Sports Ambassador - Lulu Alexandra returned from the ISU Adult International Figure Skating competition in Germany with another podium finish. Achieving 3rd place in the Gold Women Artistic event!

Lulu also had the incredible achievement of a 5th place finish in the Gold Women's free skate. These achievements are even more incredible by the fact that 4 years ago, Lulu underwent a reconstructive surgery on her foot and was told she would never skate again.

Lulu's story and achievement is an inspiration to many, and we are proud to have her representing us as a Sports Ambassador!

CSAW has partnered with Chelmsford Tennis Academy to create the Tennis Academy Activations Sessions this summer at Lionmede Park!

With fun, friendly beginner sessions designed to get more people playing tennis in a relaxed and welcoming environment. There will be both an Under 9’s Red Ball and Under 16s Green Ball course spanning 8 weeks, beginning on Tuesday 2nd of June.

The 8-week course has a one-time cost of £40 and is aimed to teach your little one the specific skills of their age group such as confidence and basic skills for the under 9s and specific match play and technique for the under 16s.

We anticipate this will be a popular course so book now to ensure your place!
