The successes of the Adult Teams from last Summer in the Chelmsford League of 2024! 3 division winning teams with our Mens 1 winning division 2, our Mixed 1 winning division 2 and Mixed 2 winning division 3! Great to see our adult teams progressing up in the summer leagues, a tough summer coming up for our teams but a challenge we all welcome!

Another busy year done and dusted. Keeping busy would be an understatement 😅 house renovating, cake baking, coaching, playing tournaments, playing d&d 😅

This year saw me return to some competitive lta tournament play, playing more than 2 events in one year for the first time since turning 18, which saw my lta ranking go from being somewhere in the 11 thousands to being just outside the top 1500....not sure I'll play more next year but we will see

House renovating has kept myself and busy this year! New windows, new door, some new wallpaper, new flooring, render, painting....I'm sure I've forgotten something somewhere

Had the pleasure of coaching some of our county players at Hamptons, with some getting picked during this year for their relevant county teams!

I captained Hamptons Sports & Leisures Mixed 1 team this year and we have managed to get promoted to next summers div 1 in the Chelmsford league!

After being sweet talked into trying D&D (dungeons and dragons) a couple years ago I actually attempted to DM (dungeon master) a couple of sessions (jury is still out about how that went)

Also managed to go to Eastbourne and Wimbledon again this year to watch the tennis 💪🎾

Even tried out some axe throwing and we all survived! 😅😂

Great day at today! First match I got to watch in full today was Emma raducanu vs Sloane Stephens - couldn't help but analyse it throughout.
First set was very well contended, Stephens absolutely crushing any First serves she returned and therefore dominating those rallies, but then struggling with the less pacey second serves. Raducanu dominating when returning on her backhand side, but not being quite able to do so on the forehand. Unfortunately for Stephens, once the first set was under Raducanu's belt, she relaxed on the forehand side as well. A fun match to watch with some great shots from both players 💪🎾

Doubles tournament 2023/2024 finals day today at . Well played everyone who entered and to all of the clubs finalists

Today saw our first internal singles ladder tournament in the gail force winds!! A great tournament played by all, but it was Sabih who won overall, beating Ryan in the final! Well played to all the players!

So we managed to do the big move today, almost everything moved across, thank you to all those who helped out today! We will be starting 2024 as homeowners 😉 been a crazy few months but definitely worth it!
