We have a Beginners course starting on the 3rd June with a taster session on Wednesday the 27th May between 7-8pm in Chelmsford

All kit supplied with qualified BFA coaches with years of experience

Come and have a go and have some fun. If you decide after the taster session you like it then you can sign up to the 6 week Beginners Course

Last week saw another cohort of beginners successfully graduate from the novice course. Congratulations to Nicola Man, Elliott Heap, Finn Clayton and Gary Jones for achieving their level 1 Foil awards. Shown here with their coach and examiner Trevor Richards. We were treated to a small but exciting novice foil competition last night. Thanks to Rob, Gary, Elliot and Elliott for taking part.
The final was a particularly skilful and thrilling affair between Rob Jones and Elliott Heap. It was nip and tuck all the way until, in the second session, Elliott pulled away into what seemed like a winning 14-12 lead. Rob, however, battling extreme exhaustion, managed to claw back the points to draw level and set up an exciting final point decider. Despite his skill and athleticism, Elliott was unable to claim the final point and Rob emerged the victor. This was a good display of fencing from 2 novices and we look forward to seeing them at the club in future.

Chelmsford Fencing Club are pleased to announce the start of their Junior Section

This is available for Children aged 8-13 from complete beginners to Children who already participate in the sport.

Equipment supplied

Qualified DBS checked Coaches with accreditation from British Fencing Association
