First win of the season for the Chelmsford Reapers 🏒

A big one for the team and something we’ve all been working towards.

Finishing 15–2 on the night, it’s a result we’re proud of, but full credit to the Otters for making the trip and battling all the way through — hope to see you again soon 🤝

Last Weekend’s Result – Chelmsford Reapers 🏒

Last weekend the Reapers were on the road as we travelled to take on MK Storm Wreck.

It was a tough night for the team, with the game finishing 7–0 to the home side.

Despite the scoreline, the Reapers kept battling, putting in the effort every shift and working hard right until the final buzzer.

Player & Reaper of the Game went to Dan Irwin for a strong effort and great work rate throughout the game. 👏

We’ll take the lessons from this one, regroup, and come back stronger for the next game. Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Reapers on and off the ice. 💪

Apparently it was a development game… although someone forgot to tell their mystery ‘development’ superstar. Must be part of a very advanced programme 😅

That said, I can’t fault our effort. The boys worked from puck drop to final whistle, created some big chances, had one disallowed, and dealt with a few… interesting calls along the way.

Scoreline aside, the progress since the start of the season is clear. We are a TRUE development team and I’m proud of the attitude and the way everyone kept battling.

We’ll keep developing… hopefully not quite as quickly as Bracknell 😉”

Tough result for the Chelmsford Reapers last night against the Bracknell Devils.

We left everything out on the ice and battled hard from start to finish, but sometimes the game doesn’t quite balance out the way you’d expect.

Plenty of “interesting” moments throughout that definitely made things harder than they needed to be — but that’s hockey. We stick together, we move forward, and we keep working.

Player of the Game goes to Mark Robins for a solid performance and leading by example all night. 👏

Reaper of the Game goes to Ollie Noon for bagging his first Reapers goal — the first of many we’re sure! 🚨🔥

Proud of the effort from every single Reaper who pulled on that jersey. 💪
