💥Braintree, as always, you didn’t disappoint. 💥
This week was such a beautiful reminder of what The Sisterhood is all about.
We were joined by the wonderful Leanne Johnson- Public Speaking, Voice and Body Language Expert , who shared why so many of us experience nerves (and sometimes intense anxiety) when speaking in public, and more importantly, what we can do to work with our nervous system rather than against it.
But as always, the magic wasn’t just in the speaker session.
We had a fantastic discussion around courage, confidence and the phrase “feel the fear and do it anyway.”
Some of us found it empowering.
Some of us weren’t quite so keen.
And that is exactly why these conversations matter.
Different perspectives. Different experiences. Women learning from one another.
💗 Support
💗 Conversation
💗 Brainstorming
💗 Connection
This was The Sisterhood in all its beauty.
If you missed us in Braintree, don’t worry…
Next Tuesday we’re heading to Chelmsford with guest speaker Gemma Hall | The Relationship Coach (that’s not for couples)
✨ Conflict: Which Woman Shows Up When Conflict Walks In?
The Ghost?
The Warrior?
The Peacekeeper?
The Diplomat?
The Weaver?
Gemma will be helping us understand our conflict archetypes and how they impact our communication, relationships and business.
Because conflict doesn’t create your patterns—it reveals them.

💭 Controversial opinion time… 👀😂
What’s something that everyone seems to absolutely LOVE… but you just can’t get on board with?!
Mine?
Aperol Spritz 🍹🙈
I want to like it.
I’ve tried to like it.
But every time I drink one I feel personally offended 😂
Your turn… what’s yours?!👇

“I’ve gained clients, collaborations and friendships.”
“The Sisterhood networking group Chelmsford is one of the most friendly networking groups I’ve been to…
I’ve not only gained new clients from the meetings but brilliant collaborations, and new friends who get what running a business and family life is really like.”
— Nicola Walsh

This is what happens when women are given a space to genuinely connect — relationships are built, confidence grows and opportunities naturally follow.
The Sisterhood is about so much more than business cards and pitches.
It’s about community.

“Why are The Sisterhood meetings women only?”
It’s a question I’m asked often — and honestly, the answer is really simple…
The Sisterhood was created to be a space where women feel safe enough to exhale.
A space where they can show up as they are.
Not polished.
Not performing.
Not pretending everything is fine.
Whilst we absolutely talk business, networking and growth, the conversations in the room often go far deeper than that too. Motherhood. Burnout. Confidence. Perimenopause. Relationships. Grief. Self-doubt. Starting over. Big dreams. Quiet fears.
And there is something incredibly powerful that happens when women are in a room with other women who just get it.
Choosing to hold women-only spaces is not about disliking men. Not even close. ❤️
It’s about creating an environment where vulnerability, honesty, openness and connection can flourish in a way many women tell me they struggle to access elsewhere.
The Sisterhood isn’t about exclusion.
It’s about intention.
It’s about safety.
It’s about community.
It’s about women having a space where they feel seen, heard and supported — both personally and professionally.
And the beautiful thing is… when women feel safe, supported and empowered, everybody benefits from that.
If you’re looking for a networking space that feels more human, more genuine and more supportive I’d love to welcome you into the room.

Let’s talk networking…
I’d love to know — what’s your honest relationship with networking?
Do you love it?
Avoid it?
Find it intimidating?
Only go when you “have to”?
Wish you did more of it?
And if networking does feel uncomfortable, what’s the biggest fear for you?
Walking into a room alone?
Not knowing what to say?
Feeling awkward or judged?
Feeling “too salesy”?
Or maybe you absolutely love the connection and community side of it? ❤️
No right or wrong answers here — I’m genuinely curious and asking to ensure I make my groups as welcoming as possibl👇
