CIHA Players Progressing Through the Junior‑to‑Senior Pathway
🖤Both Harley Mead and Jack Peachey‑Matthews from our U19 Mohawks are training and icing regularly with the Chelmsford Warriors Ice Hockey Team in NIHL2, gaining valuable exposure at senior level. Jack delivered a standout performance last weekend, securing a shutout between the pipes as the Warriors faced Oxford at Riverside.
💛We also have Jaiden Martin and Alfie Moorhouse from our U16 Tomahawks squad training consistently with the Chelmsford Chieftains Ice Hockey. With the standard and pace of NIHL1, this experience is invaluable as they prepare for the transition into senior hockey.
🏒🥅Our partnership with our senior club continues to strengthen, and we are incredibly grateful to both the Chieftains and Warriors for supporting the junior‑to‑senior pathway here at Chelmsford. These opportunities are vital in helping our young athletes develop, grow, and prepare for senior hockey.
Chieftains Head Coach Ben Clements shares the vision:
“The aim is to create a clear pathway where players can continue their development at a higher level and, when ready, take the step into senior hockey with the Chelmsford Chieftains. It’s about developing players, building confidence and creating the next generation of Chieftain at the club.”
We’re excited to see their progress, proud of their achievements, and we are looking forward to watching them continue to rise.
