2nd XI are at home to Ingatestone & Fryerning CC
3rd XI are at home to Basildon & Pitsea CC
4th XI are away to Theydon Bois CC
5th XI are away to Rayleigh CC

Another busy weekend of cricket for Springfield CC, with some great individual performances across the sides. 💚

A brilliant set of results across the senior sides, with plenty of standout performances along the way.

🏏 1st XI - A fantastic 147-run win against Ilford. Chris Frost was named Player of the Match after a superb 89.

🏏 2nd XI - Unfortunately a 67-run defeat against Little Baddow, but a brilliant bowling performance from Rishi Sankararaman saw him take 4 wickets and earn Player of the Match.

🏏 3rd XI - A 6-wicket loss against High Easter, with Josh Vince and Subhash Sisodiya sharing Player of the Match honours. Josh scored 68, while Subhash contributed 44 runs and 1 wicket.

🏏 4th XI - A huge 155-run victory against Southend & EMT! Murray Blamey and Karthik Sampath were both named Players of the Match after superb innings of 79 and 94 respectively. Even more special, both Murray and Karthik brought up their first ever 50s for Springfield! 💚👏

🏏 5th XI - A 49-run win against South Woodham Ferrers & Burnham. A special mention to James Dixon on his senior Springfield debut, picking up his first ever 5-wicket haul and being named Player of the Match! 👏

Then onto Monday night...

🔥 U19s Semi-Final 🔥

What a thriller against Harlow! It went right down to the wire and was a fantastic game of cricket from start to finish.

Stan Spall was named Player of the Match after an outstanding 49* to help the U19s through a seriously tense semi-final! 💚

So much to be proud of across the club this weekend. Well done everyone! 👏

A big one for our U19s this evening as they take on Harlow CC in their T20 quarter-final!

A fantastic achievement to reach this stage and we’re all behind the boys tonight. Go out there, enjoy the game and give it everything! 💚

💚 A maiden 50 for a Springfield stalwart!💚

A huge congratulations to Shaheen Arain on scoring his maiden half-century for Springfield Cricket Club!🏏👏

Shaheen has been such a consistent presence for the club over the years, usually doing his damage with the ball rather than the bat… and with an incredible 407 wickets for Springfield, we think he’s earned the right to enjoy this one! 😂

A fantastic achievement from a true club stalwart who has given so much to Springfield over the years.

Another Saturday done and dusted! 🏏💚

A really strong day for the club with four wins from five across the senior sides!

🔥 1st XI got over the line against Shenfield, chasing down 299 to win by 3 wickets ! Callum Eva was the star of the show with a brilliant 61 and was named Player of the Match.

👏 2nd XI narrowly missed out against High Roding, losing by just 1 wicket. Rishi Sankararaman continued his great form with 4 wickets, while Pradish Philip was named Player of the Match after scoring 36 and contributing with the ball.

💪 3rd XI bounced back in style, beating Woodham Mortimer by 7 wickets. Ian Vince was the star of the show, smashing a brilliant 112 runs, with Josh Vince also chipping in with an unbeaten 75* to help Springfield chase down the target comfortably. Ian picked up Player of the Match! 🔥🏏

🔥 4th XI made it back-to-back wins, beating Tillingham by 7 wickets. Vihaan Thakare was outstanding with 4-8, earning himself Player of the Match. A special mention to Shaheen Arain, who scored an excellent 68* - his first 50 for Springfield! 👏💚

💚 5th XI kept their cool to edge past Ingatestone by 2 wickets in a close one! Murray Blamey picked up Player of the Match after a valuable all-round contribution.

A brilliant effort from everyone who pulled on the Springfield shirt today. Four wins, some huge individual performances and plenty to be proud of! 💚
