KEGS CCF
The Combined Cadet Force at KEGS has been around for over 100 years. This is an organisation specifically for cadets in schools. CCFs are sponsored by MOD.
THE CCF AT KEGS
Cadets began at KEGS in 1904 and in 1948 became part of the Combined Cadet Force, as it is known today. KEGS is one of the few state schools to have a CCF. Ideally, we would have a Royal Navy and RAF section as well as the current Army section, but this would require more staff. Following recent events, as a precaution, cadets are not to travel in military uniform and should only wear it inside the school grounds until further notice. Cadets may parade in school uniform if they wish.
