Here is a photo from my recent trip to Estonia where the Karate-Do Shotokai of Estonia held its 5th Dan course 🥋 in the beautiful capital city of Tallinn. It was attended by practitioners from KDS clubs in Finland, France, Wales and England ✈️. It was an excellent course! Welcome back after the summer holidays. Our new Beginners Course starts on Thursday 11th September at Broomfield Village Hall, 158 Main Road, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 7AH. (Timing: from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm.) The Villager Hall is situated behind the Angel Pub. Free parking is available at the Village Hall. The local bus service has stops close by.

We often use the bokken (wooded sword) in our practice in order to better understand distance, timing and the use of the body.
