PROM & POM! 💃🏻🏆

Rolling back the weeks to when our lovely Phoebe had Prom, and then got player of the match less than 24 hours later!! What an achievement! Apparently, the secret is lots of dancing, singing, and no sleep! Not sure how that would work for the rest of the team 👵🏻😝

Aside from looking beautiful and pulling off any colour, Phoebe had a phenomenal game to thoroughly earn her POM! She was one of the last batters in, they just couldn't get her out! And as always, her safe hands caught every ball thrown her way in the field, stumping several players out at first post!
Well done 'little ginge', a true asset to our team! ⚾️🐥💜

Can I blame it on being too busy from PARTYING OVER THIS WIN???? 🥳🥳🎉

We played the reigning league champions... AND BEAT THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME IN CHICKS HISTORY!!! And a lot of the thanks go to our very own Victoria, aka, Vic-torious! She found every space possible and pinged the ball all over the pitch! That paired with some amazing catches, earned her the very well deserved Player of the match! Victoria definitely stole the show, but the rest of the Chicks were clucking and flapping to just about keep up with her!
We celebrated like crazy over this win, and have never felt more like a team 💪🏻

We played the same team back to back, and got back to back wins! The only difference was our player of the match!
Tatiana was awesome, hitting the ball every time and scoring, scoring, scoring!
Some brilliant fielding all round but when you can't get a player out, they deserve player of the match!
How do you know when the whole team are stepping up...? This is our SEVENTH different player of the match this season! A different one every week!! Can Tatiana make another one by the end of the season?? 👀👀

Sorry if you saw our post yesterday and thought about coming! We've cancelled training this week as we don't have enough people to play.
Training will resume as usual next week, Thursday 9th July!

We're in the middle of a busy season and are STILL unbeaten!
Two weeks ago Lisa stole the limelight in Earls Colne, hitting balls nearly all the way to Colchester, Chelmsford and Braintree!! Rumour has it that you could even see the ball from Ipswich! As well as some awesome batting, Lisa was also bossing it at back stop, scooping up every missed ball and lobbing it to 1st quicker than the eye can see! She was all over 4th like a rash too, leaving no route for the opposition to get round!

Another week and another win for the amazing team that is Spring Chicks! Unbeaten so far which is something to be very proud of...what a season we are having! A special mention this week to our POM and very own Captain Ginge!! You would think she had teleportation skills on Tuesday as she was everywhere - Bowling so fast you couldn't see the ball, covering second like flies round 💩, clearly guiding the team with her lovely vocals (😆), making a couple of fabulous catches and - if that wasn't enough - batting like a pro. Well done Bonnie, we are so proud to call you our Captain 💜🏆🐥.

Ahoy, mateys!
This weeks match brought us our third win of the season, shiver me timbers!
We fielded first and limited the opposition to only 6 rounders! We then came out to bat and smashed it all over the field!

Special shout out to our player of the match, Half Pint, aka... Jo Rrrrrrrrrrr! Her movement in the field and trick shots when batting left the other team ready to walk the plank!

Let's celebrate good times, come on!
Victoria smashed it and stole player of the match for her sensational batting! She was whacking it here, there and everywhere! The opposition had no chance!

Woken up with a WINNING feeling this morning!!
We had our first competitive match of the 2026 season, and absolutely smashed it in the second innings!
Our own little Phoebs clucked away with player of the match, for some sensational bowling and great hitting! She led the triangle and also took some great catches, shall we change her nickname to ' safe hands ' ?
