New Teacher Announcement 📣
Meet our fabulous Cara, joining the dream team next week!
“I teach Vinyasa and Yin yoga, creating classes that invite you to slow down. My teaching is grounded, flowy and accessible, with thoughtful sequencing, breathwork and meditation woven throughout.
I first found yoga while looking for space to slow down in a busy world. What started as a physical practice quickly became much more. I was lucky enough to complete my 200-hour YTT in Sri Lanka, so I try to bring the mindfulness I learnt here to the mat alongside movement. I aim for you to leave my class feeling calmer, more grounded and a bit more connected to yourself.
Alongside teaching yoga, I’m a Women’s Health Coach, who helps women better understand their hormones and menstrual cycles.”
You’ll find Cara in the pod:
Mondays @ 17:30 & 19:00

✨ WE’RE RECRUITING ✨
Due to a couple of our wonderful teachers relocating and moving on to exciting new opportunities, we are now looking for some fabulous new teachers to join the Hotpod Yoga Cheltenham team 🤍
If you are vinyasa trained and looking to become part of a supportive, community focused studio, we’d absolutely love to hear from you.
Never taught hot yoga before? Please don’t worry. Full Hotpod training and support will be provided, including guidance with sequencing, music and creating the full Hotpod experience ✨
We are also looking for cover teachers to support the team during holidays and sickness cover, so even if you’re not looking for regular weekly classes, there is still opportunity to get involved.
If this sounds like something you’d love, please send us a DM. And if you know somebody wonderful who may be a great fit, feel free to share this post with them 💜
Much love,
Sophie & the Hotpod Team

Last night ✨
Although we didn’t take home the trophy for a second year running, what a privilege it is to be nominated as a finalist for Health & Wellbeing Business of the Year across Gloucestershire.
For a studio that isn’t even three years old yet, I honestly couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built so far. The team, the teachers, the community, every single person who walks through those pod doors and makes Hotpod what it is.
Such a fun evening with Jodie & Steve, surrounded by so many inspiring businesses and people. And honestly… always nice to swap the leggings for heels every now and then 🥂
I will forever feel so grateful that I get to work alongside some truly beautiful people every single day, people I’ve been lucky enough to handpick myself.
A huge thank you to all 14 of our incredible teachers. Not everyone could make it last night, but this recognition belongs to every single one of them. I genuinely couldn’t run this schedule, this studio, or this business without you all. Thank you for bringing your energy, your warmth and your magic into the pod week after week.
Here’s to the team behind it all 💜
Forever grateful. Forever proud.

Today is my wedding anniversary.
And during Mental Health Awareness Week, it feels impossible not to acknowledge the reason my marriage ended and my husband lost his life.
Mental health.
Over the years since losing Mitch, I have dedicated so much time to understanding the mind, healing, self awareness, nervous system regulation and the importance of truly checking in with ourselves. And honestly, it’s probably one of the reasons I feel so passionate about the work I do today.
I watched somebody I loved deeply slowly disappear long before he physically left this world.
Mitch was strong, proud, disciplined, successful, loved, respected and outwardly had everything many people dream of. But none of that mattered because internally he was struggling, and he never truly allowed himself to receive help.
That experience taught me something I will never forget.
You can spend hours building your external world, your body, your career, your image, your success… but if you neglect your internal world for too long, eventually the mind catches up.
Life will always bring stress, pressure, uncertainty and chaos. Running a business certainly does. But the difference now is that I take care of myself mentally, emotionally and spiritually so I can handle what life throws at me in a healthier way.
You cannot control everything happening around you.
But you can learn to support the mind experiencing it.
Please check in with yourself.
Slow down.
Sit in silence sometimes.
Talk to somebody.
Ask for help.
Make time for your inner world, not just your outer one.
Because mental health does not discriminate.
And sometimes the people who look the strongest are fighting the hardest battles internally.
Today felt like the right day to share this 💜
